What would you like to see from EKI

I would like to see a Commander option with all the original specs. .062 liners and the thicker scales. It just feels so much better than the current versions.

The 5th Anniversary Commander fits the bill but it is sold out.

Commanderfan you are right on the money. Yes nothing like a generation I (98) commander. I would pay more for it, but not as much as the five year ones were going for. I hear that the new 2002 commanders feel really solid.

I have what I would like to see from emerson knives, A set of framelock commanders.

OH, wait...Thats right, those aren't standard items but customised emersons.

Oh well. I still have what I wanted, one way or another. :D

You have a frame-lock Commander?? Talk at us about it if ya do. I'm waiting to hear back from Reese Weiland about doing one for me!:D

I just want memnoch's frame lock commander!:)

Awesome stuff! Can't stress enough what beauties those are.

Maybe a fixed blade tanto about the size of the Police Utility Knife with a muli-position sheath and G-10 handle scales.

Benjamin...Kinda sounds like the Timberline Aviator Pilot Survival Knife. That knife was designed by Ernie. Cool blade, but not an EKI.

Goin' to bed. enough keyboard time for me....

A folding neck knife..... for California. Since EKI is here you'd think it would be more of a priority.

I would like to see customs that we are able to order. For example, I either call or email EKI, they respond with a "Yes," I receive my CQC6 a couple of weeks later. Voila! No lottery, no attendance at knife shows, no private purchases, etc. If only life was this simple, I need to wake up.

1. Waved CQC7B satin in 4" or larger
2. Framelock super commander with the best of the 98 specs
3. Waved mach 1
4. Darker olive green handles as an option
5. Production CQC6

Most excellent. I can tell you and I would get along well! ;)

A framelock Super Commander. I'm going to see if I can make that happen, being that I have 4 in my collection. The conversion in Ti would probably cost between $300 - $500 though I bet.:(

You want MY FL-commander???

You are NOT cute enough to get it. Sorry. If you know someone cute enough to, Um...distract me.... you may be able to leave with that knife, provided you leave $650 in my pants...

the conversions cost about 300 to 400 dolars depending on what you want.

plain ti will be about 300, with a textured Carbon fiber inlay 350, if you want the CF inlay and a boron carbide coating, i think that would run about 400.

I have a plain ti and one with a CF inlay.

Ok well the SpecWar is going, along with some of the mini's this is what i would like to see.

Build the PSARK and the SARK from the Mini Comander Frame.

Eliminate the Mach 1, and just ad its blade shape to the Commander and Mini Comander line (with wave). Then build a Mach 1 fixed blade with the same lines as the current mach 1 with maybe a slight bump in blade length (3.8 or so)

Give all liner locking Emerson's thicker liners, other companies can do this at a resonable price so i dont see why emerson shoudlnt be able to.

Bring out the Triton, it will bring customers to emerson that typically go for all metal knives like Microtech and MOD. But make sure to offer a Waved buttom locking Manual, and grab the SPEC WAR or SOCFK's blade shape, it will also make the people that dont like liner locks happy.

Or make me really happy and let spyderco use the WAVE in exchange for Compression locking Emersons with round holes.

Would it be out of line to wish for a non-chisel grind? I'd like to be able to cut in a straight line. Please. Just on the spearpoints. Please...sharpened on both sides.

Also, keep the green G-10...and maybe add some other colors in special runs. I think most knife companies don't get how bored/tired some of us are of black. (This is certainly not just an Emerson issue. In point of fact, the green G-10 was a beacon in the otherwise gloomy blackness of tactical knives.)

Framelocks would be cool too, but the grind is the thing that keeps me away more than anything. Love the ergonomics...hate the grind. Sigh. I also like the disk as well as the hole...so that's a non-issue for me.

Waved regular production "8".
That would retire a good amount of my current EDC rotation.
I'll take 2.

You will never see a production CQC6. Ernie has promised that and it's only right.
The waved 8 production is coming.
