I know this thread pops up quite often with the tactical guys, not sure if we have had one here (maybe I missed it). What slippie do you carry as an EDC and is it your primary knife or a back up/secondary to a tactical??
I do collect some locking hi -tech, super-duper tactical and carry them from time to time but I never feel dressed without my Kissing Crane Stockman or SAK Tinker. With those two there is no job too big! What's in your pockets people?

Today.
A small Art Washburn folder and an old (from the 20's) equal-end Utica multiblade.

Tomes slip. . .single blade. . .brown jig bone. All metal parts have a hand-rubbed satin finish. :D

My back-up/slip-joint of the day is a Queen Whittler in black cherry delrin.

I've always got a classic SAK on my keyring and an SAK Tinker in my left front pocket as well, these are always there...so I suppose they're my primary EDC. I carry a 'tactical' folder in the right front pocket, they vary according to mood and/or what's close to hand as I go out the door.

today?.....

Camillus Boy Scout and a 12cm Laguiole de l'Artisan

Metis

Buck 709 until I get home from the office, then I trade it out for a SAK Spartan (84 mm size) and/or a Spyderco Endura lightweight.

A vintage Schrade-Walden stockman in jigged bone.

Those old carbon steel blades have a beautiful patina and are SHARP.

Bulldog medium Stockman with Stag carved winterbottom bone handles.
Lenny

Dozier straight personal and Queen stag-bone stockman.
Other days may consist of: Dozier toothpick, Queen cocobolo stockman, Camillus carbon-series stockman
Rarely may carry a stag Dr. pattern (with spatula!) instead of a stockman. Never know when you may need to spatulate!;)
I'm still on a simmering quest for a nice wharnie whittler... the case seahorse looks good, but I can't remember if it is stainless steel or not. I usually prefer carbon, but may change my mind if someone can rave about this one.

Do custom made knives count? This knife is my first two blade pocket knife. Both blades work off the same spring. I have no name for it.

They do when they are as sweet as that Chris. Give us some info: size, handle material, steel! You should be proud dude.

Case medium stockman with a pen blade in place of the spey. Squared bolsters, Brown/reddish bone scales. Blades in CV. This is my EDC and has been for a couple years. I usually have another one or two on me too that rotate. Today it is an old Queen peanut and an old Boker whittler. Tommorrow, maybe something else, but that Case is my steady EDC.

Vic Swisschamp ( my EDC; Cordura belt pouch, behind left hip )
Plus, today: Lg. c.c.g. Sebbie (RF pocket, clipped )
Mnandi (left breast pocket, clipped )
