Ol' Tor is just realistic enough to generate a double-take from the unsuspecting, especially if accompanied by a hat and a coat with a high collar.
 
I'll probably go as a frazzled and traffic weary father of an excited princess.....

Hannah still cries every time I put on a mask. Boy that makes putting one on fun as hell.

She saw something last year with some guy 'helping' a sheep over a fence. Since I grew up with a flock she always teases me about it.
 
Some funny stuff on this thread. I'm not sure what I will be, probably posing as a chafeur to a 3 year old Power Ranger and a 6 year old Barbie Princess.

Back in the day, black turtleneck sweater, rubber horns glued to the forehead, red Rit dye straight out of the bottle smeared all over hands, forearms and face. It's a wonder I'm still alive and don't have skin cancer.

Today, paper mache wolf's head that fits like a helmet. Lots-O-Fun, especially with women.
 
The dog and I live in one of the lesser travelled neighborhoods now. The 5 ft fence around the place will probably keep the kids away, if the neighborhood doesn't, but I'll buy some candy just in case. As for dressing up... probably not this year.

You already have the P:A: system to pipe in the madness . Your blade collection would be heaven . You must have gone through hell to pay for it . Would it be sacrilege to fill the Holy Grail with candy ? :eek: :eek:

I'll be Gary from Team America in disguise. A few cotton balls and turban and viola!, instant costume. I'm thinking of supplementing it with a name tag that says: Hello! My name is Achmed... (I'm a terrorist). No one will get it but I'll have fun all the same.
 
Last bit of gear I needed to complete my Tyrolean peasant outfit, so I can dash off to "burn the monster" with the rest of the angry villagers, was an appropriate set of footwear. Not to worry, found just the thing, about as humbly "peasant-like" as you could want. I used to hate these durn shoes/boots with a purple passion. In basic training we had to run PT in T-shirts, PT shorts, and the "boot of the day" (alternating between combat boots and these accursed things). Some of you older military hands will no doubt remember Chukka boots. They suck to do formation runs in, but for solid, simple, shoes, that look like something right out of horse and buggy days, they sure enough fit the bill. :D
