What you cut?

I cut a roll with a vegtable knife and used my S.A.K. to open the tops of coke cans, and sat around and flicked my knives while watching the Olympics games. Tried to keep from cutting myself.

You're kidding, right? Probably my earliest memories of a pocket knife is my grandfather peeling apples with his Case. We lived on a farm and unless you wanted to eat worms, you peeled your apples so you could cut out the worms. We didn't spray our apples. He used to peel the apple and make one continuous peeling.

Now days, the apples you buy in the stores are near tasteless. Peeling them not only removes the chemical residue and wax they put on the apples, but improves the taste (I used to pick apples in Washington State. You'd be surprised how often they spray those apples--including the people that pick them.). The other day, though, I had a wonderful golden delicious from a local organic grower I ate peeling and all. It was wonderfully sweet.

I get some pleasure from finding a relentlessly peaceful use for a combative looking knife.

Age and treachery beats youth and exuberance any day. Besides, I sent my friend another BM, a Stryker. It is my hope that this boy-child handles the BM with deft grace. After years of practice, then we'll get him a MT...OKG

OKG,
It was my 730 that sliced the saran wrap off the doggie treats!
When faced with tough packing material and a hungry Chihuahua, I was glad to have a knife that was up to the challenge!
