What ZT collaboration would you like to see next?

I would love to see a collaboration between ZT and flavio Ikoma. I really think Kai USA could do his designs more justice. It would appear CRKT isnt interested in making a serious ikoma flavored knife and if anyone could bring the guardian angel to life in a production knife its ZT. Though the likely hood that flavio would do it is nearly non existent given the conflict of interest with IKBS and KVT.

How about Jakub Wieczorkiewicz from Poltergeist Works?

This would be amazing. He is a real contender amongst up and comers and I think its a collaboration that could benefit both parties. He definitely has a flare in his styling that lends itself to the direction zt is going lately. ZT could also take jakub to the next level if he should desire to be a household name. His designs are amazing and he showed great promise with even his earliest knives.

I'd love to see...a RJ Martin ZT

I didn't read all of the threads yet, so I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but regardless of the designer, I would REALLY like to see ZT come out with a high end, composite bladed FIXED BLADE.

I'm not too fond of the ZT lineup of current fixed blade knives, but they've come out with some rock-star folders, so I'd love to see them use some of the amazing designs out there to come out with a small multitask fixed blade, maybe a fighter along the lines of the Terzuola CQB or the DDR X-ray 18 Fixed blade, then maybe a big chopper. All, or none, could be composite blades, but I would be really happy to see them focus some of their efforts on making some really cool fixed blade knives.

ETA: WAIT......WAIT WAIT! Just a second. I've got it. I know I said I'd like to see some nice Fixed Blades, but I thought of one collab that I would just freak out over. I would love to see a big hard use Wharncliff style blade. SO --- Yuna!!!

I would LOVE to see Zero Tolerance get together with YUNA Knives and make a ZT version of the Zen or the Zombie Slayer...........in ZDP-189 or M390.......OR A COMPOSITE BLADE. Damn, that would be ridiculously awesome!!!

ETA AGAIN : Tradestar, didn't see that you said Yuna..........You're damn right, though. His Type S Beasts fit the ZT mold perfectly. The Hard 1 and the Assassin are both badass knives. I've been trying to save up and decide between getting a Zen or a Hard 1, but for a ZT collab, I think the Zen or the Zombie Slayer would be PERFECT. In fact, I think the Zombie Slayer would take the cake. Its such a chunky blade, but with that huge straight edge, it would be perfect for the ZT treatment.

After seeing some other's posts, I've gotta say I'd like to see Valloton or Shirogorov ( yes, I know the Sinkevich is similar to a Shirogorov, and thats why I WILL be getting it ), Curtiss wouldn't be bad either.

I really like Steve Ryan's designs and would love to see a collaboration with him since I will never be able to afford one of his customs.

As long as its in the 200$, decent steel, somewhat attractive, somewhere around 55X size then they should do fine.

I just read through this thread and half of the people mentioned have already collabed with ZT! Open up your eyes people. There were some others mentioned that I think would make a nice collab.

Nothing wrong with bringing back what works. I'd love a MUDD 2.0

I would love to see an 0350 or a knife with similar size come with an axis lock if possible. I doubt that Benchmade would agree to any such pairing, but I love my Griptilians for the axis lock, and my 0350 is the perfect size and ergonomics for my tastes.

I like the idea of a direware/zt collab alot. Mikkel Willumsen or Kirby Lambert would be pretty awesome too. Or what about Jeremy Horton?

Yeah. Could always use more fixed blades. I'd like to see a ZT collab with Bill Harsey, or a ZT tomahawk - I guess a great collaboration would be with RMJ or Daniel Winkler.

Honestly a ZT/ Busse collab would be game over... A fixed or two, a Thomasohawk and a folder...

As much as I'd love to see a Horton Collaboration, I don't foresee it happening.
Jeremy's grinds are what make his knife unique, and it's hard to do platinum edges in a production setting.
