Another thread brought this up. What are your everyday carry items. I suppose you can include what's on your belt as well. I keep mine simple and carry the same gear day in and day out. Mine include a simple disposable lighter (don't smoke), an old Leatherman tool on my belt, a CRKT Apache II linerlock with ats34 steel blade and my keychain kit includes a maglite solitare, P-38 can opener, a small whistle and a victorinox SAK. I added a waterproof match capsule with a luminous Brunton compass in the cap.

Spydie Native
SAK Tinker
SAK Trailmaster in O/ST neck rig w/ inova microlight and mini ferro rod
Gerber Multilock Scout w/ folding steel, dmt blue stone, screwdriver bits in pouch.
Mini bic lighter with 10 feet of gaff tape
15 feet of paracord
25 feet of thin hemp twine
bandanna
gatco triseps pocket hone
DMT fine (red) diamond sharpener
Magnesium firestarter
Mini fox40 whistle
Petzl Tikka headlamp in LC1 pouch with 1 set of extra batteries

if I have pants on, I have all this stuff on.

Leatherman Wave on belt.

CRK Lg. Sebenza
Bullet space pen
On my key ring- Utili-key, Inova microlight.
Small signal mirror in my wallet.

While I sometimes add other stuff, this is the bare minimum.

I carry my sebenza, swisstool(on belt),bandana, lighter and a photon light whenever I'm dressed. I also carry a more complete kit in my truck and take it with me if I'm away from it for long, with grooming stuff, dry socks, couple food bars, trash bags and so on.

more interesting maybe since there have been hundreds of "pockets" threads is this: What does your wife carry in her pockets?

She keeps a spyderco clipped to her pocket,a sog multitool in her purse, defensive spray and photon on her keyring, and an even more complete car kit than I carry.

The wife is a rural mail carrier and is also an EMT, so she carries a pouch with a Swiss Buck as well as gloves and other gear for an emergency. Her keyring has a photon style LED, SAK, whistle, P38 and a pouch with barrier. She also has a major kit in her personal delivery jeep and one in our P/U which she drives to and from. The good part is, she knows how to use everything, lol.

Right now I have a Benchmade 942 and a SwissChamp, as well as a SwissCard in my wallet and a Leatherman Micra and mini Maglight on my keyring. I've also got a few other goodies in my shoulder bag including an HI BAS.

Right now I have a Benchmade 921S, a Spyderco Dyad Jr, and a Micra with a Photon II attached to it in my pants pockets. In my Jacket pockets I have a Spyderco Native and on my Keyring I have a Swisstech Microtechnician Plus, a Photon III, and a Spyderco Ladybug.

In my daypack which I almost always have there is Paracord, a Altoids Minikit, a Inova X5T, Leatherman Juice, and a Spyderco Calypso Jr as well as a Cellphone, pens, screwdrivers, and a few other bits and pieces.

Well, this depends on where I am, really. My various day to day EDC permutations all include a flashlight of some sort, a lighter, and SAK or multitool (or both), and at least one folder, one of which is always a Sebenza. I no longer to chuckle at those forumites who carry more than one knife (well, OK, sometimes I still chuckle when I see someone posting that they have four or five knives on them, that really seems like overkill). The truth is that there are lots of knives I really love, but nothing beats my Sebenzas. So the Sebenza never gets substituted; at most, I'll carry another folder along with it, just for the heck of it. I enjoy carrying my knives and gadgets, whether or not I really *need* all of them.

So .... today at the office, I have: large Sebenza, Leatherman XE6 Juice, disposable lighter, SureFire E2E (coat pocket), keys on a carabiner w/yellow photon II microlight, red Inova microlight, spy capsule, Traser Glowring and Victorinox Rambler. Plus, wallet, sunglasses, etc.

When I'm in the woods, I carry more stuff. Probably too much stuff.

Save that lint! Add a bit of vaseline and it makes great firestarter stuff.:D :D

I have as I sit this moment
a 710S McHenry and Williams in M2 (60-62 RC)
a Gerber Paul knife in 440C,
blastmatch,
.35oz tube of Carmex (fire starter, lip balm)
photon LED light (white),
cell-phone,
100$,
P38,
25 yards of Spectra line 50#,
signal mirror,
space pen
and next to me a PSK
and next to that a BOB.

I've been practicing with the magnesium firestarter and I think I have it figured out. Anyway, I had an extra minimag sheath laying around and found that the lower blade to a cheap pair of scissors works great to shave the bar and also give me a shower of sparks. So......I put them together into a kit of sorts to wear on my belt next to the leatherman.

I see lots of guys using the magnesium the "wrong" way.
Here is what I mean: I found that by holding the striker
still and drawing the mag. back, I could better concentrate
the shower of sparks into the shavings (Mag. tinder amid
other tinder). Have you tried that?
-carl

Yeah, I've tried pushing the steel forward on the rod. Holding the steel still as I drew the bar towards me and a combination of the two. They all three started fire, but it seemed that I was able to keep the core of the sparks closer to the tender, making ignition hotter by a combination of pulling the bar back towards me and then pushing the steel right down onto the tender. I'll keep working on it though. Just like everything else, the more I practice it, the better I'll get with it.

My favorite gear that's always on me are a SF E2e (w/KL1), a blue lacquer Fisher bullet, and Darrel Ralph CF ArcLite.
There's a white Photon II, a spy capsule (w/antacid:(), a Vnox Classic, and a blue glowring on my keys. I carry a Leatherman (PST right now-broke the pliers on the pictured Wave)while at work, and sometimes as part of my EDC-rest of the time it stays in the door pocket of my truck. When not carrying the Leatherman, I usually add a Vnox Recruit, or a LM Micra, depending.
My "main" knife, folder or fixed blade, varies.

Some of you must have a wicked Belt/Suspender/Backbrace combination. :) I could never carry half that amount of stuff on a regular basis.

As for me:

RF:
Wallet
EDC of the Day (Today, Emerson CQC7Wave)

LF:
Keys w/Red Photon II, Blue Tracer
Cell Phone (Motorola V66)
Schrade Old Timer Middleman
Change ($2.63)
Some advil cold+sinus for my cold

My wallet has nothing fancy in it, just a few $$, credit cards/id's and a collection of receipts.

I have most my real tools out in the car, and at home.

I also usually have a fischer bullet pen and a comb, but I couldn't find them this morning. A Surefire E2E-HA, Arc AAA, and a Blast match are on my X-mas list.
