Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I'm interested in these budget traditionals like Colt, Marbles, RR. I just bought a Schrade Old Timer Barlow and it is pretty tight (I say this in a Dutch accent).

Tight like a tiger.

2013 GEC sodbuster in 01 is otw. First sodbuster for me and my first traditional purchase. Aside from that I only have one small trapper from the 70s I found while demo'ing a deck after hurricane sandy...

Got these inbound this week plus a Northwoods Indian River Jack and a TC Barlow stews blade in African Black wood. It was a good day for me on the exchange. Lol

This thread is about knives you have actually ordered and which are in route to you.

GEC Northfield #77 Barlow in Red Camel Bone and a Northwoods Hawthorne Clip in Blue Camel !!!!

My 15 scout and 68 pony jack are on their way back from a short Florida vacation at Evans house (aka Santa's workshop). He quickly updated the pen blades to crown lifters on both knives. Can't wait till they arrive. Thanks Evan and I hope he doesn't mind me posting his picture.

Jerry I'll be waiting on your review:thumbup: Hope it works well for us old hands;)

Paul, it's working out so far....getting a bit smoother. The crescent nick is easier on my thumb, better leverage due to the style and placement. I'd say it's still on the cusp for me, but much better than the BF knife (in that respect).

That's very cool.

A bit o' encouraging news at the end of last week inspired the sudden purchase of something I've wanted since first seeing an example of one in person a few years ago.

Weather permitting, a certain small something should arrive tomorrow:
