Very nice & very well made stockman you have there! I have an Uncle Henry just like that one that I bought in 1970 & I carried it every day for 30 years. The blades are worn down, but there's no blade wobble, the backsprings are still "watertight", and the snap is still good. It could be pressed into service today if need be.

Not really, but I see a grand opportunity to do a load of sharpening and some general cleaning of the hoard:thumbsup:

Even so, wish there were something on the horizon......;)

Good grab. I saw it and marveled at the apparent quality. If it's anything like the lockback whittler I just got, you're going to love it.

You're not alone. I never thought I'd ever get to this point, but I seem to have more guns, knives, etc, than I could possibly use. Money isn't the problem either. I'm at the stage in my life that for me to spend my money on something, then I'm going to have to need it, or it'll have to be something special.

Very nice! I think you’re going to be happy with that one. I have a couple, and love them.
 
In addition to the five knives that came just last week, I have four more on the way. It makes me feel slightly better about it sharing with people who understand how ridiculous the accumulation is sometimes. :oops:

Glad you snagged it. Your gonna love it. This one is such a solid and great feeling knife. I hated to part with it but too many custom orders and a small issue in my home after all this rain we been getting meant I needed to part with one for the short term. Glad it found a good home!
