I had asked him to make a version of a curved Barlow, based on a Russell!! This could easily be 5 years ago??!! Well he hasn't forgotten!! I'm on the edge of my (rocking Chair) seat!!!

Recuerdo de Oaxaca is apparently an expensive mezcal, not a knife-maker. The other side says ""don't forget me" in Spanish.
7" blade.

First thing I'll do is give it a good swish in dirty kerosene just in case the woodworm is still active. Then patch the horn with some colored epoxy.

If nothing else, it lowered the price?
I should have it on my belt after Memorial Day.

I've been wanting a 2 blade slipjoint folding hunter with 1095 blades for a while now.
Both my offshore Old Timer and Marbles of the pattern have stainless blades.

Beautiful, well made. Craftsmanship is over the top on these. It came sharp and has held up. I love it.

Ahti Korpi. I went with the carbon instead of a similar one in stainless (which is too hard to spell), because the carbons are drawn a couple of points harder.

It should pair well with the Western 062 Folding Hunter I bought last month (see post 8431, above) and my 4 line Camillus 33 EO Jack.

I should have it in hand in next week or so.
