Whatcha got on order? (Traditional Knives Only)

I've been after a clip point version of Shing's knives for a while and this prototype Europa came up at a bargain price.

He's only made a handful of thees as production knives too:)

I have one of those hopefully arriving in my mailbox tomorrow.

Finally broke my 3 month steel drought. GEC #61 in bocote, barehead #92 Eureka jack in ebony, and a stag & damascus fixed blade from Martie Robinson. The handle shape on the #92 intrigues me, looking forward to getting it in hand. Going to be a good week.

I am certain I need to go to bed earlier ;) just picked up a nice looking GEC #79 natural stag folder from Boggs, I grabbed one from him not long ago, a linen micarta scaled one, the Montana Workhorse, guess I needed just one more :)

I kind of went a little nuts the past couple of days. I presently have on order:
1 stag #68 white owl with bail and clip main
1 resolza from the auction site
1 Robeson cigar jack
1 Northfield Bull Lock
1 non-traditional folder that's going to be a gift for a coworker

Whew, and all of this one week before the GEC rendezvous and Queen show...

While I really like the pattern, I just never warmed up to the 'green bone' version of the #92 (if anyone is interested in it, PM me). So I pulled the plug on the one I should have ordered in the first place:

I agree, this one has a lot of appeal to her, in a strange set of events, I ended up with a green bone version, I had clicked and ordered the double bolstered jigged bone one, but on arrival it was just the green bone one with pivot end bolster. I emailed the store and turned out because the Antique Green and Autumn Gold have the same initials, the photos ended up being the same, a misleading event as the autumn gold was on a different page further in on their site. While I was offered to get the replacement from them to help offset my expense of returning the knife, I was just a little put off by the knife at that time, we sorted things out and ended up with a very nice #55 Hounds Tooth, love that, but this one here is still tempting me and it looks good with just the one bolster for some reason ;) BUT I just picked up another so this will have to wait it's turn :(

That's quite a knife-ordering adventure! :)

To be continued... ?

If so:

Nah, that adventure is over for now at least, but, once I am able to build up some funds, I am thinking I'll get one of those smooth bone 92's
right now, I'm whupped in the $$ department!

It was a good week, indeed.

Usually I just tear into the boxes like an animal, loot my valuables and discard the husk. But I could smell leather... and found this little guy hiding in there.

Derrick, you're a maniac. Always a pleasure.

I've wanted one of these for so long...

Overall length: 7.1"
Blade Length: 2.95, cutting edge 2.88"
Steel: CPM 3V

I finally just decided to jump on it while they're still available, and this one with the black micarta/red spacer was too unique to pass up. I need a second job...
