Watcha drinking threads are boring. I suspect that I'm not the only one who listens to music while drinking and Interwebbing when I should be in bed. I've programmed it to randomly play some of my favorites.

My last six songs:

Johnny Cash: When the Man Comes Around
Hayes Carll: Long Way Home
John Hiatt: Master of Disaster
Ian Tyson: This is My Sky
Ray Wylie Hubbard: Without Love (We're Just Wasting Time)
Manfred Mann: Blinded by the Light

Anybody else like music and want to share recommendations?

My album recommendations, for the moment, are Johnny Cash, American IV; Hayes Carll, Little Rock; and Ray Wylie Hubbard, Dangerous Spirits. Music doesn't get any better than this.

And for the mandatory Busse content:

Aw, shit. Simply Red, Holding Back the Years. Why did I let it play that?

Lots of really good memories turned bad in that one. I think I'm gonna have to finish the bottle now.

Pandora knows Greg Borwn, Doesn't seem to suck.

But guys like this have to have a personaity live to be really worth seing. Does he gots one?

Kind of an eclectic mix, but my favorite music to listen to is anything by Coheed and Cambria (they sound like a modern day Zeppelin with Pink Floyd and Rush thrown in for good measure) or anything by Leo Kottke (solo fingerstyle guitarist.)

I've gotta find his first album on CD. Have had the vinyl for decades...

Vaseline Machine Gun is still one of if not his finest works...

Hendrix, Sabbath, Allman Bros.,AC/DC, Blues......mostly blues and fusion, I have to listen to a lot of stuff I would never choose to, because of the bands I am in....Country and Western come to mind.
