Whatcha listenin' to?

My friend, I have seen David Allen Coe in concert about 14 years back in some shitty bar up in Roswell, GA. I sat on top of some video game (remember when they use to be in bars?) and watched him sing through a few sets.

He was wearing what looked like a set of yellow and white satin pajama's.

I still listen to the music every now and again, but his presentation totally blew his image for me...

Not much different now, add a little flannel, maybe longer hair and beard, some Dimebag Darrell groove and cool guitars with a heavy edge--the man still is able too carry on. He can be fun sometimes. Just catch him on the right night.--But I get your point. Ha ha

At the moment, it's Harvest by Neil Young, and 'Are you ready for the country' just started.

And no drinking tonight, i'm getting ready to go do what my handle implies :D ...

What am I listening to right this very minute?

:D Mother Angelica Live Classics on catholic radio. :D

Bet you didn't expect that did ya?

Allright pro--you were just bored scrolling through your local stations--right--sounds to me you need to subscribe to Sirius Radio--IT RULES--
Check it out. If not--at least a cd player.

I've had the ole Ipod on shuffle tonight but the last few have been Nickelback, Brad Paisley, Phil Collins and Sugarland

ok...stuff on my ipod lately- jeff buckley cover, and original Leonard Cohen version of hallelujah, velvet underground, cocksparrer, blitz, billy bragg, johnny cash, stone roses, the opressed, pulp, stiff little fingers, joy division, pixies, naked raygun...

...actually- this brings up a very odd idea...while wholesale swapping of music via the internet is now illegal- mailing mix cds to friends is not- anyone up for a good old fashioned cd swap?

More power to you then, I can respect that!

Have a good weekend.---------------You still might check into Sirius radio--it still rules.

Oh I am, only because the catholic radio stations around here are spotty depending on the weather and I am relegated to listening on the internet. If I get Sirius, I can listen in the car, especially helpful for that long drive to Blade. :D

Rammstein, korn, The Darkness, Lacuna Coil, Exilia, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Evanescence

Rammstein, korn, The Darkness, Lacuna Coil, Exilia, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Evanescence

I'm listening to Audioslave, Audioslave and Audioslave, right now. At other times I will listen to Metallica, and of course GnR, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Korn, Godsmack, Rage Against the Machine, Cypress Hill, STP, Three Doors Down, and there are a few others that tend to go back farther into the nineties.

Dude I think someone brought up a controverial topic here.

Kataklysm, All Shall Perish, Hatebreed, Danzig, Meshuggah, The Deftones, Swallow the Sun, God Dethroned, Six Feet Under, Iron Maiden, and Slayer; to name few.

Oh, I do have favorites like Rush, the Doors, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, and Dave Mathews in my collection though too.

Black on Black RULES! Some good mental metal. Godsmack are really growing on me. Audioslave has been a disappointment to me. Soundgarden was one of my all time faves (Tat to prove it) and Rage was one of the biggest industry busters ever. Combine the 2 and they are about as creative as AC/DC without electricity (my $.02). Iron Maiden, Slayer were both pretty violent live. Meshuggah opened for TOOL when I saw them. Korn, well they just flat out Kick A$$. Seen em' 4 times, but the pit is out for me next time. Man, I'm gonna go listen to some Alice In Chains and Prodigy now. You guys have got me goin' now. :D
