Whatcha listnin to oo oo?

Was in love with this song when I was 12 years old (Dad had it on tape). Looked it up just now to see if I could figure out why it had me. First time hearing it in decades and I can totally see it. It's the bass, guys. You can't argue with that fun groove.

Well clinton1 clinton1 you just led me to this, but at the chorus I felt like I was being musically gaslighted.

I like the singing in this version better than the original. ;)

A friend sent me that last one a while back, but I never got around to checking his channel out until now. This is really cool.

Full seasons of Fred Alen, and Jack Benny radio shows recorded between 1939 and 1950.
Also listen to 'THE SHADOW' radio program, some Burns and Allen, and classical music, on You Tube. 😇
("modern" music makes my head hurt.)
That’s fantastic! I love old radio!!!

Where/how do you listen to it?? 🙂

Usually at home on either my tablet or (allegedly) "smart" phone.

On You Tube do a search for "DINO'S DUCK SOUP'. They have the largest selection of old radio shows.
On the Fred Allen, Red Skelton, and Bob Hope shows I have listened to they do not habitually edit out the ads, laughter, applaus. The musical numbers numbers are sometimes edited out, especially the early Jack Benny shows. ☹️
I might be in the minority, but to me, the old ads and musical numbers add to the experience.
You Tube/Google has not stuck in any modern ads ... yet ... anyway.

Interesting! Thank you!

FYI I found a pretty good trove of old Shadow episodes on the Internet Archives. Might be of interest to some!
