Currently listeing to the Mosaic Records - The Jazz Crusaders: The Pacific Jazz Quintet Studio Sessions (6 CDs, 2005).

It's a compliation of "jazz" recordings by The Jazz Crusaders BEFORE they became the popular blues/funk R&B group simply named the "Crusaders."

One of their most successful songs as the "Crusaders" was "Street Life" (1979) but this Mosaic compilation is from 10+ years before they went "commercial."

This is the LONG 10 minute live "jazzier" version of the song as cut on the LP/CD of the same name:
