I’ve devoured all the sci-fi and fantasy I can get my hands on, and stumbled upon “progression” fantasy/sci-fi a couple of years ago. Just finished my reread of the Cradle series by Will Wight since the final book in the series came out, and it’s awesome if you haven’t given it a read and want to try the subgenre (kind of a cross between fantasy/sci fi and Chinese wuxia/xianxia). Now I’m on to an Iron Prince reread now that the second book in the Warformed: Stormweaver series is out. It’s fantastic.

My wife has an eating disorder that’s getting bad again. Been reading “The Body Keeps the Score” to try to be a better helper. It’s a great book about trauma. Not an easy book, some of the stories are rough, but a great book.
