The other day I wanted to look up something on the Phill Hartsfield website and I couldn't locate it. I think I saw the website up a few months ago. Anyone know what happened to it? Thanks.

Thanks for the response! I tried that website and they didn't have anything. (I tried phillhartsfield.com. Is that correct?)

CrufflerJJ: Thanks for that reminder website. I just looked at my own from years ago. Ugghhh..... and cool! ;)

Yitz, I managed to search that and found a handful of 'catalog' images in 2010. Nothing in the last 2014 save. The pages are saved, not necessarily the images. :(

Good luck. Someone in the family has them for you! Contact through FB?

Thanks for the thread, Yitz.
I need ONE Hartsfield. Phill was a master grinder and heat treater.

Lycosa -- have you looked at Nordic Knives? There are many Hartsfield knives offered there and more come up all the time.

This is one I got from Dave a few years ago.

Good luck in finding just what you need as Phill had a lot of variety for users and collectors.

Murray,

That is one of my favorite picts of Phills work.

Lucky man

I checked out Nordic Knives. Those Hartsfields are out of my reach. I had no idea that they would appreciate the way they did.
So, my Josh Mason will be my Hartsfield.

there have been quite a few PH knives that I have liked over the years and communicated with P on a number of occasions but it was not until the pictured knife came up on Nordic that I made a purchase. I wanted a knife that would fit our collecting themes and this one fit the bill well. A local collector has dibs on it when both my wife and I are gone unless one of my kids decide it will fit his taste.

Caspian, Phill passed away several years ago, the shop has probably been moved by his family. Phil Jr is carrying on the Hartsfield name and is making similar knives.

That's a beauty, Murray, always nice to get that special knife. I have one Hartsfield left, a Kozuka that I ordered from Phill years ago. I sold it at least twice and bought it back, still a favorite.

Win- Good to see you.
You need to sell your kozuka for a 3rd time. :)
