what's a better camping knife: spyderco bill moran or Gerber Yari

I'm trying to decide between a Spyderco Bill Moran or a Gerber Yari to use as a camping knife: food preparation, utility, and hiking. Which one would do the better job?
 
I have both, and for your purposes, I would recommend the Spyderco Moran. It is lighter(so light, I sometimes use mine as a neck knife), thinner ground and sharper, and utilizes better steel. The Yari is an excellent knife, but all the factors lean towards the Moran. Plus, the Moran is less expensive.
 
Thanks Danbo. I was leaning toward the Moran, and I think you convinced me. I found it for under $50.00 at Slegg Tools.
 
If you get the Moran, treat it with respect. They are SHARP! Trust me when I say I know. A great knife.
 
Both are good, but for food prep also I would go with the Spyd. Moran.
