whats a good d2 folder

I have a couple knives in s30v and I love them, but if you're looking for D2, I would suggest the Benchmade 960.

I had almost forgot about those.

The Spyderco Military and Para-Military are extremely good knives, if you have the money I would go for one of those.
However, the fact is you can get a Kershaw JYD II or Leek with the same steel for about half the price.
Then there is the Benchmade 710D2. While it only uses regular D-2, the 710 is a very well built knife for the price, and uses the Axis lock, which you already know all about.

You can't really go wrong with any of them.

The Ka-Bar Dozier Thorn. They came in an all-black version, too. Wicked little knife, patterned off Bob's dagger. Excellent action, the liner lock is actually a tab lock, functioning as lock and stop pin.

I don't know where you can get them anymore, though. You ain't getting mine. :)

Similar blade, different handle, their D2 Folding Hunter Knife.
