I agree with the majority that the Aurora is the hands-down way to go. However, just get one and choose something else for your car breakdown lights. Auroras are not exactly inexpensive and they have a drawback when it comes to storing them in the car. For the car I prefer a light that can take lithium batteries, which will store a lot longer, perform better in extreme temperatures and resist leaking better in the harsh environment of the heat-cycling car. so just pick up a cheapo incandescent headlamp that takes 2 AA batteries that you can find at WalMart or wherever and get the AA lithium batteries for it. That will be adequate for the rare occasions you need to do a nightime tire change (and save you money, too).
