I understand your concern M marcinek . He's clearly lacking a mushroom harvesting tool in that setup. My real concern though is what happens when he literally finds himseld up a creek without a paddle. Mushrooms aren't going to help him. What he really needs is a folder that doubles as an oar:

The gold standard in EDC knives. I keep 3 in every one of my bugout bags. Very thin and lightweight.

Everyone else gets the point of the thread. How many troll posts do you need to make?

I believe we have been asked to limit ourselves to commenting on the content of threads, not others.

We have been asked "Whats a good knife to add to this collection?"

Fleams, flensing knives, mushroom knives, short swords, parangs, chef's knives, SAKs, etc etc etc are all cool knives that are not part of this member's collection.

Suggesting them is no more trolling than suggesting a traditional like you did.

Its the spirit of the suggestions. Yours are all jokes, and its obvious after you ranting that noone can tell him what he wants and yet you keep trying to suggest far out, ridiculous items... But we cant PROVE it, so hide behind that i guess. I wont comment further on it.

I hardly see how they are jokes. There is a wide world of knives out there and people collect, use, and enjoy them.

I am sorry that suggestions outside of what you make you consider jokes, ridiculous, or trolling. You are missing out on a lot of cool knives.

I don't think our new friend should, and I consider it our responsibility as knife fans to see that he doesn't. I assume that is why he asked.

So...how about an "art knife" ala Larry Fuegen?

...or do you deem his work "ridiculous"?

How about a classy knife with a flipper tab? There are a ton to choose from but a little Micarta might look good there...

I’d say a Buck 110 or a ESEE izula or a Spyderco folder or a Swiss Army knife for sure. Those should be in every collection and won’t cost ya a arm and a leg and are great users.

I see a small pile of knives that are functional (and I mean "small" by Blade Forum standards). You explain nothing about your knife use and just ask for something new.
I would suggest you pick up a couple folders, a size and cost that you are comfortable carrying.
I would suggest you pick up at least one 3 inch (ish) fixed blade. They are very useful.
You probably need a machete, and certainly something beastly just to play with.
I would add a SAK or two of your liking.

Every collection needs a tomahawk! Snag one of the new American Tomahawk Model 1’s when they are available again. RMJ bought the company and now they are better than ever

The first thing I thought of was a nice traditional, GEC came to mind. If you’re more into modern steels, take a look at Enigma knives.
Looks like you’re a fan of the axis lock. I’d consider a Spyderco Manix 2, it will be considerably stiffer to operate but at the same time feels more solid.

You don't have a Spyderco. I like my Sage 2 and Native 5LW. The Paras have a lot of fans around here; for good reason.
You don't have a flipper. For a fun, heavy duty (assisted) one: ZT 0350. For a nice everyday knife, I just got a Bestech Pebble. It's discontinued, on sale now, and in my pocket a lot.
You could try a traditional. Rough Rider makes some very inexpensive ones, that are quite nice in hand. Or spend more on a US made Case or a Buck.
