Like the wood lore And i was thinking about a koster but are there any high prodution full tang scandis made. And the only one i know about is a enzo.

out of curiosity, what is your apeal to the spear point?

alot of people tend to think that a spear point drills much better, but, in my expirience, strait spines drill just as well. so, if you were willing to settle for a strait spine, you would have alot more options. but if you just really like the look of a spear point, as far as productions go, you are limited to the BRKT aurora, nebula, or kephart, or the F1 which is only borderline speat point. or you could buy a mora blank and grind it to shape.

Koyote? Helle has a few and they are great knives. check ragweed forge for Helle as well as many other good scandi's.

If you like the woodlore just go ahead and get the SWC copy. You can get a blade blank pretty cheap and handle it yourself. I had Matt @ MLknives do mine + a really nice sheath for about $50. Dont know if he still does work outside his own knives but he is one of the nicest guys ive ever dealt with and is as good as anyone out there.

What's the "SWC copy"? Where's it available at?

Thanks,

Bob, I'm not sure I would call any of the EnZo blades a "spearpoint". They do have scandi-grinds though, at least in the Trapper series and maybe in the SKinner series.

I would have one of forum knifemakers make one!

I just like the way it looks with a scandi it just seems cool.

Benchmade,
if you're after a koster you can get one in O1 with very little wait right now on Dan's subforum.

Whether 3v is worth the extra, well that depends. You can see my thoughts about it in a recent discussion.

3V is really excellent steel definitely everything it's cracked up to be, but I'd be just as happy with O1 for a scandi ground bush knife, and at times would actually prefer it.

Those SWC's are really nice, I like how the tangs are tapered. The handles look like they'd be very comfy too.
