What's a tooth worth these days?

Usually $5 is a good amount.

If I were a kid who got $50 for a tooth I might have shut up about it fast.
 
I like the dollar coin idea, although I remember when my uncle gave my brothers and I all five Kennedy dollars and told us to save them because they'd be worth something some day... Wish I still had those. They're worth less than they were then, but they sure were cool!

If my kid found $50 under his pillow the first I'd hear about it would be, "Hey dad, check out the cool ________ I got with my money from the tooth sissy!"

See if you can find an old Peace Dollar, or a new American Silver Eagle coin. I've bought back a few from my oldest son already. He knows I collect them. :D

He's a smart one, though, and I have to be careful that he doesn't let the fairy out of the bag, as I will still have 3 more boys to bring through that phase.

Hey Guys...

My daughter had her first tooth pulled yesterday.. What a Brave little soul,, not a peep or even a whimper out of here..

The dentist bill was $172.50 and the tooth fairy bill was $6.00 :)
Luckily we get the $172.50 back.. :)

Anyone else ever save their teeth? I had a jar that I hid so she couldn't find them and put all of them under my pillow when they all fell out :D of course I lost my teeth pretty early, had my 12 year molars coming in when I was 6.
