Yes. It is about the seventh revision of a design concept that he initially requested and which I’m super excited to make for him as a live blade.

Don't drill in the drill press like that, it's pretty dangerous.
A drill press and a buffer are the most dangerous machines in a machine shop.

Drill long pieces flat on a table, with a clearance hole.
or
Have the part securely mounted in a fixture.

Bare Minimum, have the Long blade on the other side of the column.
If it helicopters, it spins, and hits the column, Not You.

Good advice. I think maybe I moved it after I took the picture. I always try to put it on the other side of the column at least...
They are super dangerous! I know from past experiences :confused:
