Whats going on with HAK

Tried to place an order from hide away knives, but when all was said and done there was no proceed to checkout/confirm order button, I tried emailing... Are they still producing knives?

yes, from what i know the ownership of frontsight has changed and the new owner ( i believe a forummember knifemaker) is doing his best to catch up with orders.
I also had problems with ordering thru the online, but emails sorted everything out.
IIRC there has just been a thread on BF posted from a forummember who received his new knife very fast after ordering.

I just posted this yesterday but it got moved. I ordered my HAK utility on 10-4-07 from HideawayKnives.com. Immediately following my order placement, I of course jumped on the forums. What I found was a few people that were upset with the company and their c/s. A little worried I e-mailed William (the new operator of the company) and asked for a confirmation that my order will be shipped. The next day William returned with a note stating that everything was on it's way. On the 9th I received a package containing 4 company rulers, a bumper sticker, a ball chain for neck carry, 2 bags STUFFED FULL of different colored paracord and a few zip ties that fit the sheath perfectly. These items were all extras along with the straight utility model and items that I actually ordered. I just wanted to pass on my experience with this company and customer service. To all of my fellow L.E.O.'s this is a must have for back up. 1 day with this on the job and I am sold!
