• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Whats gonna be my next Woods pal??

I really like this ASH...its a great knife, tough, great ergos, tough, sharp, tough.......and..did I say tough? Seriously, I batoned, sliced, chopped, and it handled it very well. I also like that it is mid sized with a spear point blade of around 6 inches..a good size to carry. I have a dangler sheath with firesteel loop being made right now. Gene

Perfect looking blade bro, and I'm pleased to see that you are one of the few that really uses your Busse's !!!;)

YOu know what I say PIT, no such thing as a safe queen...if I cant use them, then why buy them? Gene

Looks like you caught some Busse fever! And yeah, good to see them out getting the use they need.

Dont worry T, I still have plenty of wonderful bushcraft knives, that work just fine...I am just enjoying a few really tough knives. I know that I don't NEED a knife as tough as these...but it sure is fun beating on them...and thats what its all about for me..having a good time. Gene

I just got my first Busse in the mail today, a sage and green linen game warden. THis thing is awesome. I think my next is going to be an ASH if the nessmuk doesn't come out first.

I like a 6" or so woods knife, not to big or to small...just right for camp chores, and the ASH is the one for me...thick spine for strength, but a flat grind for the edge geometry. And a spear point, which I prefer for Bushcraft. It is pricey, but well worth it to me. I love my Gamewardens, I don't think I would ever buy a Fat one..seems silly to me, the GW is a SMALL knife, the blades about 3"...why would you want a 1/4 x 3" blade??? Anyway, I think that the pair of them will be going on some trips with me into the woods. Gene
