Well I was figuratively under the weather most of last week and then literally to the point of having no internet on my phone or at home. Internet has been restored to the phone but the neighbouring town is without power and in a “state of emergency” according to hearsay. I still don’t know if I have home internet because I’m at the shop now for the first time in a week. Here’s my side yard at the house as of early this morning. If you zoom in you can see that’s ice covering everything. It brought a bunch of branches and trees down on power lines all over the province.

We got about 1/2 inch of ice…that snow sure is shiny out back.
South of us just got hammered with 2”-3” of ice. Not a good situation. States of emergency.

3 inches of ice is terrifying. For weeks after the ice melt you have to keep an eye out for widow makers. Branches that broke, but have not yet fallen.
