What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

Scrap heap? (Asks the guy who saves *everything* for parts because "I might be able to use some part of it for something later" and is buried in saved inoperative stuff.)

Okay friends, here is what's happening next:

Lucky Dog Knife Co. has an order in with me to make several dozen of his beautifully designed pocket fixed blades. He and I agreed to a build schedule of approximately 10 units per month until they are all completed, which could take me up to around this time next year. However, as long as it doesn't threaten any of the expected completion dates that I gave to those who also placed orders with deposits, I will aim to produce more than that in any given month, while also reserving some shop time for one-offs here and there either for the Ameliasburgh Fall Fair, as mentioned elsewhere, the exchange, R&D, or just because (such as long outstanding ROFRs). So long as doing so doesn't threaten any expected completion dates that I have already given to those who've paid deposits to get on the books.

So Lucky Dog Knife Co. is up next; I am going to make 10+ units for him in the next week or two, after which I will be jumping back onto others' orders.

Let’s get ready fooooooorrrrr Lucky Doooooogggg Jeeeeennnnngaaaaaaa!

If you ever get bored , with making basically the same knife , repeatedly :

Start a "school" and charge people big money to be your apprentice slaves ! :p

The more you charge for tuition , the more desperate will be the demand to be admitted .

Actually, not joking .
