What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

Have to do for tonight. Puts me firmly into the home stretch to finish tomorrow, with sufficient time to deal with extensive customs documents for last week’s batch going out this Friday. Maybe even make another one or two knives??

While I was filling out the steel origin customs documents a few minutes ago (which includes weighing the item, which I did with and without sheath), I fumbled the Prevail XL, and yes instinctively tried to catch it. Let's just say I will have to teach my brother how to pop the knives out of the sheaths to show people tomorrow as my thumb will be taking the day off.

Let's just say I will have to teach my brother how to pop the knives out of the sheaths to show people tomorrow as my thumb will be taking the day off.

Get some finger cots so that you can wash your hands without having to keep replacing the bandage on your thumb.

It's not all that bad after all. I covered it up in a hurry so I wouldn't be dripping everywhere, but after repackaging it, I see the placement is probably the least inconvenient possible for a thumb, and severity less than I imagined from the initial outpouring. I will be able to pop the knives out myself.
