What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

Last of the commissioned Sparkling Smile clip points started today. Only two SS commissions left after these (different blade shapes) and then the ones for Empire. Oh and my Tanto of course. Eventually! 🤣

I wouldn’t know. I try to be frugal with stuff like that so I always get the “Boring Burger” and only on Tuesdays when they have the two for one special.

I guess they have an online menu? Never even looked at it. I called and asked “what’s the best bang for your buck” and just ordered the same thing every time since.
 
Red G10 liners for it and natural canvas micarta too. Now I know I should call it a night but I also want to wait the half hour for it to cure so I can trim the edges flush and see how it all looks. But I’ve already spent way too much time working in the shop for one day. But I don’t wanna go. But I should go. But but but

If you’ve ever worked in restaurant or retail, you heard the phrase “there’s always something to do”. Well looks like I’m gonna kill that half an hour cutting scale blanks from blocks of wood 🤣

In actuality , being a cheapskate myself , I would most likely do the same . :cool:

In my fantasy world , I'm a big spender ! :p
