I ended up an early taking a long weekend. Punctuated, since I am heading to the shop for a bit this evening.

Something that has kinda been burning me out a bit lately is the increasing disorder of the shop, now that we are into the hot summer and I am not using the stove (carboard piling up and stuff), and the ever present dust situation.

I have the same shop vac I bought over a decade ago, using the same hose and filter (it's amazing how reusable the filters are if you just bang out the dust every few days), but my vac hose as been getting shorter over time, since I don't use a nozzle for it, and it seems to lose a ring every once in a while from abrasion. I think it was only a six foot hose to begin with. So I have a 20 ft on the way now with a bunch of nozzles, which will make cleaning the shop much easier, and those of you who have been witness to my machinations over the years are aware that when I get the shop better organized and cleaned, I seem to be able to get more done... or at least I think I do.
