It's been a while since we did this here. There are some new folks to the Busse here, so what does your Forum name mean?

Mine is a combination of my Alma Mater mascot and my name.
 
Mine is a combination of my real name Steeley and my Junkyard Dog number from the Scrapyard forums #130.
 
Great Idea.

Since I am living in the Middle East for about 4 years I chose an Arabic alias, meaning "Old Man". It is also used regardless of age for knowledgeable, rich or powerful people. Also for religious scholars.
 
mine is just one of my favorite movies when i was a teenager,,still kinda like it!!
 
Over the years I've posted different answers in threads like this for fun...this time I'll go for the truth.

J & A are my first & middle initials. Not wanting to use all of my initials, "Jax" was what I tried to register here but it was already taken... So in a flash of ultimate creativity :foot:...I just tossed another x on and tried again. It seems to have stuck...it is my user name on every knife forum where I'm a member and most of this community now knows me only as Jaxx, except in here where many know my real name. :)
 
Y'know, I have no earthly idea! :confused: Never thought about it. :p
 
RussMo-middle and last name. I had friends call me that at several of my last jobs outside of the military of coarse (Last Name, First Name, MI.) and it stuck!!!

NinjaHOG... not too hard to put that one together.:)

Plus, with stealth-like precision, I quickly and silently score INFI without anybody ever knowing… just like a Ninja! :eek::rolleyes:;):rolleyes:
 
Hmmm that's a tough one. Way back in nineteen dickety two, someone gave it to me for some reason.
 
People started calling me Hookah Paul (my middle name) in my 4th year of college because most of the new people I met that year met me while smoking my hookah all over campus. Most of them were surprised (and some, disappointed) to find out I was only smoking tobacco out of it, but it still makes for a pretty relaxing and tasty experience. A few years ago when I started going by my first name, Habib, Hookah Paul became Hookah Habib

For those of you not familiar with it, the hookah is a smoking device that filters the smoke through water. The tobacco is generally flavored with fruit syrups and is heated indirectly using hot coals. The coals, combined with the water filtration results in big thick clouds of smooth, delicious smoke...I confess, I love it!

Most forum's I belong to, require your real name or part of it anyway. Aliases seem common on this forum and why I chose one. Some that hunt will know where mine came from. I use 3inch Magnum, 000 Buckshot, for Hog hunting and my brand of choice is "Winchester" aka Super X.
 
Major Kong is the name of the Slim Pickens character in the movie Dr. Strangelove. I'm an Air Force pilot myself and still long for the days of the Cold War when the enemy wore a uniform and was clearly identifiable.
 
Tyrade came from the Kershaw Titanium Tyrade that started my knife addiction, which eventually led me to the place where I belong, Busse forum :D and 83 because I wasn't around in '82 ;)
 
I have been azshaman since I first got an internet connection. The guy who signed me up warned me to use a screen name that didn't scream "I'm a woman!!!" for opsec. :D ;)

Apparently, it worked!
 
Name is Eric Esmond but a guy once told me I come off more like a deric desmond. He said it has more of an A-hole-ish ring to it :rolleyes:
