What's in your Becker sheath?

My BK-7 sheath holds the knife; a bottle of iodine tabs; an altoids tin containing fishing, trapping and sewing gear, pen cartridge, waterproofed strike anywhere matches, spark-lite tinder, Ibuprofin-benedryl-pepto tabs-Imodium AD, BSA Hotspark, LED keychain light, Vic SAK, minor medical and duct tape; 1 gallon freezer grade ziploc bag; 55 gal. industrial grade drum liner; ranger bands holding the drum liner to sheath and covering knife handle; lanyard strap.

Where's your allen wrench, Longbow50? You know that you can fit 6 or 7 sparklite tinders in the handle, but then you need a 5/32 (or is is 9/32) allen wrench to be able to get at them! ;) :D

I replaced the handle with the micartas, much more comfortable to my hands, but no more room for the tinders.

I really like the sheath on my Becker BK10 Crewman, but wouldn't a small daypack be better? By all means, cram some stuff into the sheath, but IMHO a daypack at least would be better suited.

You can also fit a Sawzall Blade {I use a metal cutting blade} between the Inner Kydex and outer Sheath ,DUCT tape a screw eye to it and sharpen the back front 3"s. Saw,Spear point, knife , Ferro Rod scraper.

Ive been sorting thru some of my Outdoor gear & having found 2 x JK1 & 1 x JK2 skinners, Ive put one of the larger JK1 skinners in between the kydex & sheath of my BK9 & Battle Rat, and the smaller JK2 in my BK7.
Theyre surprisingly good little utility blades & also have various wrenches, screwdriver tips etc built into them. Id guess theyd also make a pretty good harpoon/spearhead too.

Just got three of the NRA Survival Inc toolboxes today. They make pretty good starter survival packs, just rip out the foam inner, clean off the adhesive residue with some T-cut & cram 'em full of goodies! They cost me $59.00 inc UPS shipping & I had to pay customs tax at my end of 20quid, but still a pretty good buy. The kits (with the saw) are £50 each over here, otterboxes are about a tenner, mirrors a fiver, whistles a fiver & the blastmatch must be about 10-15 pounds. All in all a pretty good buy, NOW to repack Survival Kits AGAIN!!!!

Get a screw eye form the hardware store ,wrap a short section of Duct tape around the rear of the sawzall blade and tuck the screw eye in. Make sure the screw eye is long enough to go though a piece of wood for a longer handle.

You can also use straw's to store needle's and thread, small splitshot, hook's,lure's ect. when I put them in my wallet I don't stick myself when I sit YIKE's!!

small dmt red stone.2 tinder balls. flint sparker. 1 gerber milk bag. 4 water tabs. 30 ft ice fishing tip up line. small led light

Outstanding. Back to Home Depot I go...

as a aside if you sharpen the backside of the Sawzall cover it with duct tape or something. You can also wrap a short premade fishing line.

The reason I use a metal cutting blade is that I already have a wood cutter some where on my person, but dealing with real world I may have [have done so] to cut something harder than wood. This set up can be adapted to other PSK's.

Keep my BK9 in my Jeep as part of a kit, but I still keep a few things in the pouch. An Opinel, a mini DMT sharpener, a mag/ferro bar, some straw tinder as stated, folded up duct tape and some 550 cord.
