What's in your bedroom?

Hmmm can't fit my bedroom on my scanner...
But standing next to the bed is a Rob Criswell Wakizashi, thanks to Win Heger, it has a very nice 20" blade to it! On the night stand are those knives I normally carry and just remove from my pockets...

Well, right behind the headboard(not even a foot away) is my Winchester Defender 8-shot 12-gauge...
...loaded with Sluggers and 00 buck. :D :D :D
I also have my Spyderco Military, Black Ka-Bar, and Surefire E2e-HA easily within reach. ;)
 
In the States I keep a Mossberg 12 ga. under the bed and an H&K USP40 Compact in my nightstand. Since I can't have guns in Kuwait I keep a Busse Battle Mistress in my nightstand.
 
Night stand drawer- Colt .38 special and a Vaquero Grande.
For light it is a 4 D cell maglight and a X5 for backup.

If I had the dough to upgrade there would be a Glock 30 with a surefire light and a Hossom Retribution Fighter with tanto tip in the drawer.:D
 
On a stand right next to our bed is a Rob Criswell Wakizashi I bought from G2 (thanks Gary). On my bedpost, hanging upside down in it's sheath, is a basic model Battle Bowie from Larry Harley. Under the bed is a Mossberg 560 loaded with special flechette rounds. On top of the armoir, 3 feet from the bed I keep my Colt .45 Officer's Model Enhanced w/extra clip. Sometimes I even sleep with a Mini Commander clipped to my pj's. Last night I slept with my Strider HT. Actually I was looking at it while watching Black Hawk Down and fell asleep. :rolleyes:
 
I've got some Blade magazines, several knife catalogs, paperback books, dust bunnies on the floor...Oh wait a minute, you mean in the way of weapons! Kept close to the bed is a custom Bowie; on the dresser is my EDC and at night this guy sleeps here too! :D

Which do you feel more secure with...your knives or your 4-legged friend? Although my under the bed Bowie is comforting, I prefer my 4-legged buddy in case of trouble!
 
In my bedrrom and within easy reach, BK&T Patrol Machete, 21" ASP Baton, Surefire M2, 6ft Staff. And my .22 pellet gun with one in the pipe.
 
Well, ASIDE from my customized Glock 10mm model 20 (loaded with 16 rounds of 155 grain Federal JHP), my SOG Tigershark lays close to my bed. I also have two attack-cats that roam the area, day and night.:D.
 
My dog has not proven himself to be any sort of "home defender". He has however, proven very successfull at alerting me to the presence of unfamiliar people in my apartment building.

If I needed to defend my home against someone, I would use my hand axe. With all the different knives I have available, it would probably be more effective.
 
Well, lessee, next to the bed is a Hi-Power stoked with Glasers and Federal 125 gr. hollow points, a bull barrel Ruger Mark II, a lg. CS Peacekeeper in Carbon V, a CS OSS, CS Rifleman's tomahawk, one million candlepower portable spotlight, Brinkmann Legend LX, Underwater Kinetics SL-4 and on the wall is a Romanian C.A.I. sniper rifle in 7.62x54. Hmmm... I think I need to go shopping.
 
Let's see....I was interested in CMP/DCM shooting for years, so I acquired a 'few' classic rifles. And shotguns. And a sig.

But day in and day out I'm in a dorm, which leaves me with a spyderco endura kept unreasonably sharp, and a maglite. Dangitall.

And THAT is probably the very thing that will save ya'll's bacon if some scum tries slithering into your home late at night. Just can't beat a noisy little dog with great hearing and a strong sense of what and who belongs and doesn't belong in your home.

BTW, I love your dog's name.:D
 
Well, since the original question was about knives and not guns, I will confess to having my R.J. Martin Mayhem pretty close to the headboard. The guns are under the bed. ;)
 
well I use to keep all my knife collection (all 18 cases?) and my hunting rifles in the bedroom. When my wife and I got married though she complained that she couldnt sleep. Me on the other hand didnt mind falling asleep looking at my knives. well the Lord touched my heart to move the knives into another room, so I did.

Now I keep a m18, tsek, and leek in my bedrrom, the rest have another home in a different part of the house.

as far a s peace of mind thats what Jesus is for!!! :)
