With hot weather approaching, I take a "minimalist" approach towards carrying things. I always carry a (small, lightweight) folder clipped in the waistband of my shorts, and keys w/photon, and wallet. I am currently wearing my recently acquired St.Moritz Pathfinder TI field watch. If I feel I need anything else, I've got a daypack to put it in- sometimes (a lot of the time) I carry my super sweet and ultra compact Yaesu VX-5 wideband handheld amateur radio in there, along with a good pen and whatever "mission specific" items I feel I may need.

My DAILY carry "stuff" (not counting jacket stuff...Pepper-Foam, eye-glasses, ink-pen, etc...).:

*Luminox 3105 Watch
*REKAT D-2E Sifu
*REKAT ATS-34 Carnivour Cub
*Tri-fold leather wallet
*Leather key-wallet, loaded with keys (DUH!), Leatherman Micra, Large
hand-cuff key, etc.

EDC away from work:
RF pocket: keys & Mag Solitaire
LF pocket: small Sebenza
RR pocket: wallet / SpyderCard
LR pocket: bandana
L wrist: Timex Expedition
Gargoyles Classics black ice are never far away.

At work add Leatherman SideClip to RF pocket and move Sebbie to belt pouch, and swap Timex for a beater watch.

Well, everyday when I am dressing or undressing I SWEAR that I have way too much...but according to the lists that I am reading, I might not be as bad off as i once thought...

EDC GEAR:
Right front: small Sebbie, E-1, Fisher telescoping bullet pen
Left front: Buck mini tool or Micra, PhotonII - turquosie (no I am NOT gay :-), pill fob with migraine meds, Neutrogena Lip stuff
Right rear: wallet (typically with VERY little cash in it...thanks honey!)
Left rear: car keys
Watch: Luminox 3505, black band, st.st. body, black face
Sunglasses: customs from the optometrist (non-prescription)
pager, cell phone of belt

Am in the market for a new multi-tool to be added to the belt and also for some good pepper spray to be added when needed.

Woah... this is something I've been dancing around asking myself for some time, now...
Let's see...

When heading for work, I usually bring
*Timbuk2 courrier bag.. (HIGHLY recommended...www.timbuk2.com)
Inside are:
*24 CD case (reccommend CaseLogic)
*Coffee in SS Thermos/Nissan flask.
*Water in Polar Bottle
*Infinity Task Light (go w/ the Arc AAA)
*Chameleon medium spiral (unruled) Leather bound w/ acid free cotton paper. (If it gets wet, the pages don't stick together)
*any waterproof inked rollerball
*Groovy Elvis glasses
*A hat, usually a boonie style issue or brand

Then I also have a "to go" version also INSIDE of the Timbuk2 bag as well:

*Overland Day Tripper bag (Call it a purse, if you wish." Inside are:
*Palm III
*Moleskine (THE BEST pocket notebook EVER!)
*Chisco Wallet & innards
*Leatherman WAVE
*Keys- micra
*good rollerball(s), pencils, change...
*Altiods... don't forget those Altoids!

Sometomes I just bring the "to go" version and the Polar Bottle.

I actually had to edit to include
MY SEBENZA!

Great thread!!

When I get home and get laid back after a hard day, I usually have a pile on my dresser, and put a few pieces on top of the safe. Which are:

Tag stainless chrono

Ray Ban shades

Motorola Talkabout Weblink Wireless

Nokia 282 Flip phone

Spyderco G-10 Police or Tim Wegner

Glock 22C in belly band for summer or Jackass rig with 2 extra clips if I am wearing a jacket.

North American Arms .22 Mag in boot

Wallet equipped with the EDC high interest CC, and a trusty Spydercard.

2 sets of keys

sometimes a Streamlight Scorpion.

That about does it.

rattler looks like u and i come from the same school of thought...bring it even if u won't need it .:0

Let's see...
SS Rolex Submariner (non-datejust)

Emerson CQC7B-RH (green scales) in Left front pants pocket.

Emerson Commander BTS-RH in right pants pocket

Cross Silver Pen and Pencil set

Surefire 6Z flashlight

Kimber Ultra Elite .45acp

Two spare Wilson mags in Dillon mag carrier

On my keyring hung from beltloop;
Cuff key

P-38

1 Dogtag (in case of horrendous accident, they can ID the body and the preacher knows which prayers to say.)

ASP Sapphire Light

Craftsman 4-way screwdriver

bottle opener

and oh yeah, a metric buttload of keys.

And if anyone's wondering, yes. This IS my lightweight summer loadout. It all conceals
under an untucked Aloha shirt.

Winter loadout adds a Cabela's Photog vest, with
Magnesium fire starter, cheapo Chicom Delica knockoff, (to be used for firestarting only)

small but well marked compass w/rotating bezel.

Leatherman Wave,

spare batteries for the 6Z,

and one more .45 magazine.

Total weight? I have NO idea and probably wouldn't want to know if someone else added it all up for me. I'm used to it though, and don't even notice it anymore. (Unless something's missing!)

BTW, I cancelled my cell phone, as I was sick of the electronic leash, but now keep it charged in the truck, as even without an account, any cellphone can call 911 if needed. My wife keeps another in her purse.

Pluse one more surprise that not even my wife knows about.
