Hey guys! i recently took a look at my edc and realized that it not only was a bit heavy but, it was also all over the place and i found that i had a hard time keeping track of everything in my pockets. furthermore i reorganized my edc and this is it:
p.s the following is on a para cord lanyard

1. Gerber clutch
2. Letterman Micra
3. mini sharpie
4.stream lite nano
5. Olfa touch knife
6. paracord fob
7. mini compass

for my main blade i carry a frost cutlery crimson frost birch knife which is actually by my opinion the best out of the rest of their crappy knives and carry it instead of my Spyderco Endura dew to faster deployment and super smooth opening. take a look: http://www.bayoucityknives.com/wp-content/uploads/F18-018W_B.jpg

i also love the olfa touch knives which are made in japan and are great keychain utility "knives" that i use instead of using my main blade

tell me what you guys think and i would like to here your edc as well!!!

I carry a SAK small Fenix light and a 3 1/2 in blade fixed blade that I made. Every day. When on duty, it's more gear but still those that I listed first.

1) knife
2) zippo
3) custom pry bar (Sharpwerks pry buddy XL)
4) pen (Hinderer investigator)
5) flashlight (eagletac D25C clicky titanium LE)

1) to cut stuff. ;)
2) to light stuff on fire, I don't smoke, being fourteen and all, but the electric igniter on our stove doesn't alway want to work haha. plus I mess around with para cord a lot, ends always need to be melted.
3) I use the bottle opener the most, I must say though, this thing is invaluable for washing windows (if you've washed windows you might get why a pocket sized pry bar would be useful. :))
4) again, being fourteen I'm a student, writing constantly.
5) flashlight is pretty self explanatory, gets used a lot in the middle of the night when nature calls.

Yessir!

My EDC is quite large, I have full pockets and two things on my belt-

Knives-
It rotates so much, I have a ZDP manbug on my keys always then I have an additional 2 knives, a 3" and a 3.5-4" folder, often a Rat-2 or a mini grip and a BM 710 or a kershaw shallot for the larger one.

Lights-
In a holster I have a foursevens quarp pro QP2L-X burst mode
In my pocket I have a zebralight SC52w
I'll also sometimes swap the SC52 out for a H51 (soon to be replaced with a brand new H52)

Others-
6 rubber gloves (in a belt pouch)
Iphone
Chap stick
Wallet with money plus an extra ten dollar bill in my other pocket
Bandage shears (not your typical trauma shears, dedicated bandage sissors [that are literally shaving sharp])
A 250# rated, real carabeaner as my keychain and a few coils of aircraft cable for whatever.

When going out I also have my large FAK which it stocked well enough to perform minor surgeries and deal with massive trauma. I also have spare batteries in the pack and the car and a charger for both Li-ion's and MH's in the van.

Once I change out of jeans for the night (and into either sweat/pajama pants or gym shorts I switch over to just one knife (ZDP dragonfly) and a single light (zebralight SC52).

Knife- for prying and turning screws
Zippo- lighting forests on fire
Pen- forging signatures
Flashlight- illuminating the sewers where I flee from Johnny Law

Work edc - BM mini Bone Collector, Leatherman Surge & bit pack, Nitecore XC25, Zippo, Rite in rain notepad & pen, and either a BM Contego or ZT 0560

All other times I have my Zippo, a small light, and a knife. Still trying to figure out what light will work best for me. And the knife I carry depends on my mood. Lately it's been an Enzo Birk 75.

Iphone
O-light. Tiny one
One of many knives depending on activity. Today I actually took my zt121 shopping, in case I had to fight crazy shoppers or stab through the hood of a car in the parking lot.
Spare change
Wallet
Medication, to prevent me from stabbing through the hood of a car in the parking lot.

Here is a pic of my edc before I started hanging out with all of you knife nuts! :p

- keys, because there always locks to unlock
- wallet = money
- watch = time
- Gerber shard (the loaner knife :p)
- alox rambler = sheeple friendly
- micro USB drive = for a digital world
- maratec aaa flashlight (not pictured)
- folding knife = chip ice, pry open things, screwdriver (ha! just kidding)

The current edc knife rotation (usually just 1 at a time): 940, d'fly, pm2, domino, southard, str-ek, air, sak pioneer.

weekdays sometimes a Leatherman Juice, weekends sometimes a Leatherman Charge
wallet

What exact quark ya got? I have a quark pro QP2L-X burst mode I got from foursevens pre-release for review/testing and I love it, put it threw some heavy use since last June and it's never hiccuped, I run it on an eagletac 17650 1700mHh Li-ion but I have a previous gen QT2L-X mounted on my carbine (in a modified VLTOR scout mount) that I run on CR123's programmed to turbo and strobe.

Also what's the black thing, similar shaped to your trit's, on your keychain?

EDC varies depending on the time of day.

On duty:
Knife: BM 710 or Adamas/CRKT Sampa
Flashlight: triple sevens quark 123^2
Multi-tool: Gerber Dime and Leatherman Kick (I think)
Zebra pen
Weather-proof notebook
Samsung S3
Wallet (just a card and I.D holder)
Keys

Off duty:
(One of these)CR Umnumzaan, pimped Benchmade Rift (keyman's work with a custom stonewash and polish by me), 710, Sampa
Wallet
Samsung S3
Keys

I have said this ad nauseum, but I try to get a good balance between small size/weight and good utility. That doesn't mean that I carry the smallest things I can find, but rather those things that provide adequate utility but are still fairly size efficient.

- firearm: I have carried for 20 years, and have migrated from larger, belt-carried guns to smaller, pocket carry guns. Its just so much easier to carry a small pocket gun than a big piece of steel the size of a toaster over. I can dress how I want, and don't have to worry about someone seeing or touching the gun. That ease of carry comes with the price of reduced capacity and sight radius. But I am satisfied that 5 rounds of spicy .38 or 8 rounds of 9mm are sufficient to alter someone's behavior. So I pocket carry a S&W 442, Ruger LCP, Kahr PM9, Kel-tec PF9, etc.

- light: flashlights are my true love. I belt carry an 18650 Fenix light that provides a ton of light, long runtime, and plenty of throw. The downside is that its a little bit on the larger side, but that's a price I'm willing to pay. But I place a premium on seeing in the dark, as one cannot cut, shoot, run, etc. in total darkness. Also love the strobe function, and it gets used fairly frequently. Like this other stuff, when you start carrying a good light you realize how often you "need" it.

- knife: 2-3" blade usually, with enough scale to get a good grip. I don't have to field dress a mastodon on a daily basis, so I don't really "need" a big knife. But I do often carry a larger knife just because its fun.

- MT: same deal as the knife; its usually a PS4 plus Victorinox Classic SD, but sometimes I rock a Swisstool or ST300 just because.

- other items: Sharpie mini (used everyday for something), and Fisher Space pen (small, but folds out to a full size). The micro pen on a SAK just doesn't cut it, except when nothing else is available. The Sharpie and Space pen weigh almost nothing and I don't know they are in my pocket.

- phone: utility triumphs over size constraints, as I use my smart phone for work and "need" a bigger screen. [Samsung S2 Skyrocket not shown].

Representative example here, though it changes frequently. I feel ready for much of what I will encounter, but am not hauling around 20 pounds of gear:
