What's in your handle?

The recent thread on hollow handle survival knives made me curious as to what you store in your handle. What do you consider a small, but decent survival package? For experimentation I took my smallest Parker - Brothers Hollow Handle Survival Knife, which is half the size of a Randall 18, and maxed it out with:

4 matches
1 match striker
Fishing line
2 small hooks
2 large hooks
2 fishing weights
1 needle
1 safety pin

In my larger knife I was able to add in the handle in addition to the above:

2 pieces of dry tinder
1 small spool of thread

Just a well thought out grip !

Not a knife handle but a bike handle story that I have.
I put 10000yen bill (about $100) into the handle stem of my road bike.
The stem is CNC machined hollow construction.

Maybe it's still there (never seen for several years :D ).

Fujita Yuji--What's the yen rate right now? When I left Japan I had one each of 1000,2000 and 5000 yen bills in my pocket. Got home and stuck them in a photo album. As far a I know they are still there.

Sorry for getting off topic.

1000 yen = $10.14

Sorry, no hollow handles here.

Wow, it's way down from when I was there in 01 and 02. I think the going rate then was about 130yen=$1. I guess that means I made some money on what I've got.

Only investment I've heard of making money here lately.lol
