Whats in your pockets??

If you walked out of the house right now what would be in your coat/pants pockets that would help you in a survival situation? I just wanted to see what kind if weird stuff you people are walking around with.:D
This is what is in my left and right coat pockets 24/7 and on my wrists whenever I leave the house. Its not much but I live in the inner city so I daily survival situation is pretty unlikely.

Had a mag bar, orange Fox 40 whistle and firesteel on my key chain. Got sick of the weight\noise so I pared it down to the lone firesteel. Much better like this. Otherwise it's generaly a necker, 3.75-6 inch folder. Ya I know, I hump some over sized Cold Steels outdoors on occasion. But have walked in with an Endura, Ka-Bar Mule, whatever. If running a fixed blade like my BK-2, JAB Potbelly (a couple of favourites), I peel them off and set them in the car trunk before coming back to town. I treat knives in a fairly similar manner to fire arms. Common sense, discretion, no flashing around. I would say that when not at work, I carry a folder about 75% of the time and of course my keys are with me always. A highway trip, bush walking, pretty much 95% carry time. Not to mention a glove box folder and a full sized axe in the trunk all year around. I don't like carrying a lot of crap in my pockets, just the basics.

This was my response to one of those 'pocket dump' threads a while ago, and it hasn't changed much since. The HEST is still my go to EDC blade, and this time of year I don't leave home without the Eric Nording pocket pipe and matches or a zippo. The original PST has been re purposed from EDC to designated kit multitool, and a SAK Spartan has taken its place. There's an SAK classic on my keychain and a razor blade in the wallet. I don't go crazy on urban survival EDC kinda stuff because I don't often leave a 2 mile bubble from my place when it comes to in-town life. Of course the lighter or matches can start a fire, and smoking the pipe will generate a really great thumb sized ember for transporting a flame. The SAK purposes are endless, and the HEST can tackle most big camp chores with some finesse and a nice baton stick, and its bottle opener sees alot of use with all the local winter seasonals available :D

OK, here's what's in my pockets or i carry on my person everyday - more or less (often less $!!!!)

I know Bryan Breeden's gonna bust my chops for not carrying more stuff!!! However, i'm a fast-n-light traveler and i *do* carry a backpack/daypack with much, much more in it.

So, now that i've got a photobucket account, i can up-load more photo's of this sorta stuff (i use flickr for my more intentional photography stuff).

In the image is the following:

1) my "man-ly" purple change/money/CC purse (my wife never ceases to laugh when i bust this bad-boy out!)
2) Blistex
3) vehicle registration/insurance (i'd *NEVER* leave this in the car - paper=ownership)
4) US passport (yep, i carry it everywhere - i've needed it sooooo many times) and carry-bag ziplock (veh. papers go in there also)
5) my semi-faithful Timex watch (the date is usually wrong...)
6) CS American Lawman w/Glo-Cord lanyard
7) car keys
8) house/office keys/bottle opener

Back right pocket: Leatherman Juice kf4 and wallet. (In the wallet I keep a fresnel lens and about 10 feet of duct tape flat rolled to the size of a credit card.
Back left pocket: zippo lighter and a bandana.
Front left pocket: iphone
front right pocket: Stubby Razel with a Nanostiker, Suunto Compass, flat whistle, small LED light (Innova), safety pins, and line all bike inner-tubed to the sheath.
Keyring: SAK classic (mostly for the tweezers and scissors), Atwood G5 prybaby, about 10 feet of paracord (braided in a chain-sinnet pattern)

You'd be surprised at how often I've used the duct tape that I keep in my wallet. Super handy stuff!

I think that's pretty much it for the daily EDC stuff...I'll sometimes switch over to my Galco shouder rig which also has two extra mags and a flashlight holder for my Surefire Aviator, but most often stick with the Blade-Tech holster except when traveling (where it's then carried on my IOTV).
