Never had one of those either, but they don't look to have a 3" to 4" handle like the OP is wanting. But have no idea really.

DOH! Dang 1/2" gets me every time! If the blade is indeed 2.5" and the handle is a little longer, it may be close to 3". In my PJ's right now or I'd take the ruler to my AS to make sure. I'll do that tomorrow.

oddly, i have a leatherman sheath for some sort of shaker. not sure if it is the rat or busse version, but i dont think ive ever owned either one.

no idea why i have the sheath.

also have a three finger that just sits. i dont mind the smaller ones, but some are just too small.

Here's what I came up with for the AS. Blade length on mine is 2 1/4" handle to the talon hole is 3. Kinda right spot on minus a four finger grip, well, the Rat Shaker takes care of that in one fell sweep of the grinder. One talon hole ground off, one finger extra on the handle.
