What's next on your list?

Kershaw Groove, Kershaw Orange-handled Zings, Boker Subcom, BM 556 Mini-Grip, Spyderco Native III S30V, and I really want to find like 6-700 dollars laying around and get a Spyderco Phoenix (by viele) and a custom RJ Martin knife - I think a Dress Rampage :)

I'm through buying knives for this year, but next year I'm at least going to get a Kershaw Random Leek or a Shallot, but I'd like to have both.

I actually have three knives that are next on my list:
  • Spyderco Kumo
  • Kershaw Chive (I just wish they'd upgrade the steel on that)
  • 3-1/2" to 4" fixed-blade that I'll know when I see it (perhaps a BRKT or another Fallkniven)

E-mail out to you..

I honestly can't think of anything that I'm dieing for. Both of the Hinderer XM's look good to me, and I sure would not mind a Keith Johnson or similar custom Sodbuster, but I've already purchased just about everything I want.

nemesis27: The Bush Ranger I'm buying is Carbon V. They were made in AUS8 later, before being discontinued altogether.

Performance-wise, I think Carbon V will hold up with any good high-carbon-type steel. Several years ago I bought a Camillus/Becker BK7 (supposedly in Carbon V), and the performance of that one won me over to carbon steels for my knives.

thx - cpr

tsuba:" Someday i may grab that RAO too man. I like their BF2's as well.

A bark river tusk, maybe, also looking into my first real spyderco, (have a jester)
and possibly a fiddleback or Gossman bushcraft blade.

I am getting a Mike Alsdorf Interframe Jack & a Bill Buxton Damascus Hunter. (Pix are by the makers, as I have not received either yet.) These are both knives I ordered from the makers.

I think I am going to pick up a Mnandi next.

Suz, that Buxton hunter is fantastic. I drooled over my keyboard when I first saw it, drooled over my keyboard 5 minutes ago when I saw it on British Blades, and now I'm drooling over my keyboard again...

Nice score!

Kind regards,

Jos

PS. And to stay on topic: this is what I have coming (made by Dave Steier):

I've got 8 more customs on order, but no pics yet...

Man I thought I was the only lunatic. I always have my next aquisition in mind and this week it is going to be a Spyderco Military. Lord help me, I want to slow down, but I can't :)

SOG TF-11 Trident. If anyone knows where i could get a replacement blade in a good steel like S30V or better steel than AUS-8 please do let me know.

Most of my purchases now tend to be spontaneous. For example, last week I saw a LNIB Endura 4 PE with box for $30 shipped, so I bought it. And its really the last thing I need because I already have an Endura 4 and about a dozen other Spydies. But I thought, "hey, thats $25 less than a new one would cost shipped". Which makes no sense, but thats how it works, eh?

umnumzaan.. which I have already ordered:D
after that I think Im going to have to finally explore the world of INFI:eek:
