What's Next? The 2014 BF Knife Story Continues!

I'm new to traditionals, but I really like this design. Hopefully I'll be able to secure funds to jump on this...we'll see.

I voted for the GEC 2 blade, but the single blade looks just as nice. I'll definitely be in for one of these. Thanks again to all involved in the process.

I can't say anything that hasn't already been said, so I will reiterate. Thanks to all that have made this possible. 4 solid choices, and I would have been happy with any.

Now, take my money. :)

First a big Thanks for all those that are working to make this year’s forum knife a reality. Stockdog is in and looking forward to ordering information.

A thousand thanks for the thoughtful words!
We all appreciate it - I speak for Dave, Frank, Gary, Liam, Gene, Barry, Sarah -
and anyone I may have missed. If your name appeared, and you don't know what you did, it's because I haven't called on you yet!!:D

Well, whaddaya know.

I sense the need for attentiveness(!).

Thank you, Charlie, and all the others who have oiled the gears this time. I was hoping for a two-blader (my default preference), but as one of my all-time favorite knife has but one blade, I am excited to see and hold this special offering.

Well done, everyone. So far. ;)

Fun times, these. :)

I was hoping for a canal street but I know GEC will knock it out the park. Looking forward to this one and can hardly wait.

Any of the four submissions would fit well inside a pocket, but I don't have a single blade slip joint. This will be fun.

Thank you to all involved. I look forward to getting my first blade forum knife.

How is this pattern diffrent from previous ones? looks like a equal end to.me. gec has a lot of them already so why not use one of them?

Thanks for all the work. Looking forward to my first bf traditional forum knife!

Yes, the pivot end is both smaller and square bolstered compared to the butt end. Waynorth described it as more of a sleeveboard pattern.

And it is a size in between the two equal ends that GEC have made to date: #68 @ 3.5" and the #53/54 @ 4.1".
