Whats Nxt on Ur Horizon ?

If available funds hold no sway, here they are in roughly this order:
1. Battle Pappy
2, Gladius
3. Satin MOAB
Wild card: I know it doesn't exist (YET!), but I literally dreamt of it once... A coated SARGE-7 in sage crinkle and brown canvas with a sawback blade. Think about that for a second. The only way this knife could be sexier is if it had tigerhide micarta scales over a satin finish.
 
JoshH we think mostly alike. Love that Battle Pappy and of course a Gladius. Not sure though on my last choice there. A MOAB would not be turned down if I had the choice. Those are a real beast choice of blades, one could go to war with those and the right shield and helmet lol. Just imagine an army of Spartans armed with the MOAB lol or the Romans with the INFI Gladius. That would have been like the nuclear bomb just about in todays terms. They would have sliced through armor and the other blades at the time with ease. We would all be speaking Italian right now lol.
 
HOGNOSE WAR SWORD..... about a year ago I ordered it for my birthday gift to myself. I had my scrapper 5 for years and decided to go for it and buy a Busse, saw the Hognose on their website ordered it and didn't even know op2 weeks was going on.. during the wait I needed something to hold me over and found this site. Since then I developed a small addiction and have bought at least 15 other blades off the forum here. Its been great but I still really am sure that the Hognose will be pretty awesome and become a favorite.
 
For me it's been a downward spiral. I got into Busses about a year ago. Now I'm probably Atleast 40 deep. My wife would definitely not approve.
 
Ladams, that's another way we're alike: we both consider the what-ifs of putting modern blades in historical battles. It's pretty funny, that stuff crosses my mind quite a bit!
Honorearth, I'm also thinking the hognose will become a strong favorite. I didn't initially care for it, but it's grown on me a lot. Now I'm kicking myself for not jumping on the drop-out list!
Twiztids, don't worry, I've got a solution. If you send a few blades to me, your wife won't ever get the chance to disapprove! Put out the fire before it ever starts ;)
 
scary lol, my thoughts exactly. When I first saw it listed, I just did not like it. I too did not purchase it, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. Seems most of the blades I have passed on have been that way. To be honest though I have so many already its not such a big deal. BUT, I want it. I guess that's the kid in us that we really never grow out of. My wife now is just like "Sooo many knives, what are you going to do with all of these". I am working on the legacy to kids theme lol. It is working somewhat. I still get the look, but I reminded her that I could be at the bar spending the money on booze and who knows what else. She again gives me that look like she looks at my 9 year old when he is doing something ignorant lol. Its good we have our wives or we would all still be cavemen lol. Or at least I would.

I`we seen a black coated one, black G-10 or paper, as far as i remember it had a Clip point added to it.
