What's on your keys?

Besides my keys: a P-38 can opener; a mini LED flashlight; a round AmPro spark plug gap tool which makes a great screw driver; and a floating ball compass, which can be used as a handle in case I want to flail somebody with this wad of hardware.

I'm still debating between that and the TOPS one. I really like how the TOPS one looks except they are kind of a pain to find. And i'm thinking about picking up a nite glowring from Merkeva on CPF. I like how the blue one looks do you guys have any size comparing pics for them?

Wait you can sand off the yellow-green coating off the Nite glowrings?

This is Merkava's clear NiTE glowrings. I'm guessing you're talking about Merkava's cheaper tinted glowrings? If you look on CPF marketplace, he has a thread specifically for ordering his clear glowrings.

I just added my new gerber shard to my key chain. It replaced my swiss tech tool. Hopefully I will be adding the leatherman style cs very soon.

These are what the ones on the the Nite Glowring website did Merkava just sand off the coating cause I cannot find the clear ones on the website.

Can't see pic, but no Merkava did not sand the coating off; he makes those glowrings with a clear polycarbonate casing. I just noticed in that thread that the clear glowrings are exclusive to CPF members, so if you want a clear one, you'll just have to sign up. That is probably the reason you don't see the clear ones elsewhere.

Oh he owns the Nite Glowring company?

Besides my keys, I've got a Streamlight Key-light (I love the green light it throws) and a Victorinox Classis SD.

I may break down and get a Gerber Shard or a Pico Widgy.

keys, mag solitare, and 2 cotter pins. i havent used the cotter pins yet but im sure someday ill need them.

That makes sence. I guess I will either get a tinted blue one or a clear blue one. Does the tint make a big differance?

I don't have a tinted one, but supposedly the clear casing lets you take full advantage of the phosphorescence, whereas the tinted ones block some transmission. Knowing tritium isn't that bright, I opted for clear casing. I'm happy with it; I can find my stuff quickly and easily in the dark. But I'm betting the tinted ones are still plenty useful.

I think i'm going to get the clear cased Ice Blue one, I know the green is brighter but I really like how the blue looks.

the nite glow rings are made by nite in the UK. you can buy them on their site or by way of the guy on cpf. he sells them and he makes his own under his own name. I have the blue cased 1 and it kicks ass also bought my buddie the green one and thats really cool too.... just don't buy on ebay those are way over priced
