Whats so Great About a Sebenza

Having somewhat of a backround in economics, I would say that the price point for CRK products is probably on the low side. I say this because the demand for their products exceeds their production capacity. Some may feel the prices are too high but apparently many don't.

I've bought and sold many a production and custom. I always seem to have a Sebbie within reach.

the link that was given had a post by tortoise that had a comparison to motorcycles that i thought was perfect. there is a reason that there is a BMW million mile motorcycle club and the fact that so many of the air cooled twins can be wrenched on by their owners shows that they are clearly built to last, the same goes for all of the old harleys that are out there. gimmicks only go so far but a great design and engineering that ensures years of use goes a long way.

Like Doorkicker says, you can probably buy one 3-400 dollar Sebbie in your life and never need another folder, but you will more than likely need more less expensive folders over a lifetime. I have 2 right now, one of which is my EDC (small CGG Stars and Stripes) and I could probably stop collecting knives altogether and never need another. I just can't stop though. I sold all but a few of my other folders off to get the two I have, and it was totaly worth it. LOL

I'll tell you why they're so great. Because they come left handed. :p

This is the all-time, best-ever answer to this question. :D

And, in fact, in keeping with their tradition of supporting us lefthanders, in honor of International Lefthanders Day today, I'd like to respectfully suggest Chris and Anne do something special - like, say, 25% off all lefty versions. No doubt all the lefties on the forum will agree with that one... ;)

Much as I would love that, I think it's just great that not only do they make lefty versions, they don't charge any more for them - definitely not the case with most things you see.
