What's so great about Fiddleback?

The bite from Fiddleback is quite infectious. You got yourself some nice ones. I am particularly fond of the Oreo ladyfinger, but the bushboots look pretty amazing too.

Priceless.
If I could have only been quick enough to capture a photo when we opened the box and he realized it was for him.
He owns other knives. But none like this one.

Like the man said, "If you want to smile every time you cut something; get a Fiddleback."

There is nothing that I enjoy more than seeing parents pass on the love of blades and the outdoors to their children. With all of the diversions for today's youth, a blade used responsibly signifies good parenting to me.

I take that as the highest of compliments coming from you. It's quite obvious how you raised yours with an incredible love of the outdoors and with a knowledge of blade and bushcraft.

You should see mine with a pistol. I started him young...and now the boy can outshoot me any day of the week.

Man, that is awesome. Not much can make my day quicker than that. He's looking good. I hope y'all aren't going to miss Trackrock!

Great read and I have been enjoying the feedback on Fiddleback on Bladeforum. I'm new to Bladeforums and downloaded it to find my new knife. I have been on a hunt for a new knife for weeks now. I came across Fiddleback while surfing online and really love the detail, time and consideration put into these knives. I use my knives for years and when I buy one it goes with me everywhere to the woods and on patrol. I searched for something with both class and something practical which landed me on the Fiddleback brand. It made me smile that they are being made in my home state as well. However, these knives are so hard to get as I have been researching each style, model and characteristics that would best suit my needs along with places to buy one. I then jumped on to Bladeforums due to research that this may be a place to buy one and wow, I see these have become collectors items and people are buying them up for collections is why they are so hard to obtain. I guess my question is where would be the best place to go and actually see these knives and get a feel for the right Fiddleback for my needs? I live in Georgia and would love to see some of these knives up close without having to purchase several to find the right one for me. I'm sure I will want another after having one but I'd like my first one to be one that I can truly use daily. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Depending on where you live in GA, you may want to contact Phillip at Andy's Shop and make arrangements to swing by for a visit. They typically have reserve trays of knives on hand that would give you the opportunity to experience Andy's craftsmanship first hand. Who knows, you might even find one that speaks to you and your quest for your first Fiddleback will be complete. Once bitten by the Fiddleback Spider......lets just say you may end up with more than one or two in time. It's also great to meet the crew & see the shop......you won't be disappointed !

Stop by the shop. Phillip can show you around and you'd get to meet all of us. In addition, you could 'see' and more importantly you could touch a BUNCH of knives we have in stock. You mentioned you take your knives on patrol. We give a 10% discount to veterans and first responders FYI.

Thanks Peter, I appreciate the information. As I live on the coast, it may be a while before I make it up near Atlanta. However, when I am that way I will definitely see about a tour. I look forward to owning one of these awesome blades.

Awesome! I appreciate the hospitality and information guys. I really appreciate it. I look forward to owning one and putting it to work. I am a police officer and carry a fixed blade at all times. I will have to swing by when I'm near Atlanta again as I'm on the coast. Thanks again!
