The best thing about Swamp Rats are the people, both behind the product, and the loyal group who are the Swamp Rat forumites. Yes, it can be hard to get a knife now and then, but when it comes down to it, the character of the staff is unequalled, and the openness of the core "Rats" ready to help anyone who has a question is outstanding.
 
hey Doom,just got myself a Howling Rat,and having owned a couple of Cold Steels,(overpriced),and other so-called 'ultimate' knives,I can now attest that the folks over in the Swamp offer a steel companion that I trust my life on 110%,with no reservation!They could ask alot more than they are for them(Eric:you do not see this!),but one of the many things that has earned them my respect and future dollars is that they offer these tools at a price that the average blue collar grunt(me) can afford without sacrificing other things...like beer!;)At first I was a little put off that there was a bit of a wait for them to become available,but once I understood that theirs is not a regular 9-5 production week,and heard how tough these knives are(a knife that can eat concrete cinder blocks?are you kidding me?!?Sign me up!),and once I got to know the critters that inhabit the Swamp,I realized that the old adage is true:if something is worth having,it's worth waiting for...and bro',let me tell you:I'd wait for hell to freeze over if I had to just for the chance to chip some ice with my next Rat!Have a look at what they have;I believe there are still some Howlers available,and if you need something bigger,then have patience,take a tour of the Swamp(don't feed the 'gators...)and get to know these folks...you'll be glad you did!Take 'er easy,and hope to see ya over there.Wolf.
 
At the time of this posting there are Howlers and both types of Mojos available in the Swamp Rat store.

The real answer is that Swamprats are terrible knives and you guys should stop buying them. Duh!
