I'm looking at the junglas and the ESEE 6.
If you own one what do you like about it.
What makes this knife worth the price.
Thanks.

It makes you the coolest person on the block.

It's a sturdy knife, that will do what it was designed to do. It is not a miracle blade, or some sort of incredible end-all be-all large survival knife. ( Despite what Busse customers and fanatics, who are usually one and the same, may think - no blade is a 'miracle' blade. INFI is of course a nice steel D: )

If you want a large survival knife that has a lifetime warranty behind it, will chop similarly to a Khukuri, and can function in multiple climates... then get a Junglas.

For me a Junglas isn't necessary. As I mentioned in the other thread though, I think it would be beneficial depending on your environment. I wanted a large blade to split fire wood during the winter and went with the ESEE-6. Of course, winters in my environment aren't as bad as some other parts of the country. Knives are tools and if your trying to decide between the two, you just have to weigh out your needs for that tool. It'll make the decision process a lot simpler.

it has a skull on it!!!!! so, it makes you just like Danny Trejo except even cooler :D

seriously, it's a nice sized, low weight blade, for clearin a trail, light choppin and such. well balanced, fast handling, sturdy, and all round useful in situations where you want a big knife/machete. and their warranty makes it a joy to use because you're not so worried about "if"s. not a first choice for concealed carry, though :D

Well it really depends on what your going to use it for. If your clearing brush or chopping medium sticks for a fire a Junglas is very good, the ESEE lite machette is even better. If your going to use it as a camp and backpacking knife the ESEE-6 is my very favorite. I've used both quite a bit and they are handy, but the 6 is more versatile. Now that said I would hate to have only 1.

the handle shape and length makes it feel really light and nimble in the hand compared to other big knives. it feels like a scaled down machete so it's excellent at de-limbing branches. if i carried an axe or don't have to split wood at all, i'd rather carry a machete though (i have the lite machete) since it out-chops it by a mile it's not even funny.

My point is proven. If that is not a picture of cool then I've never seen cool before.

It really depends on your planned use. The 6 is a great all around blade. The junglas, more of a large-use, chopping, splitting, type thing.

Dizwolf, you forgot to mention it also makes you look cool.

Lmao it is very cool. it also has the best sheath of any of the bigger choppers i've seen.

but really if you want to be cool you gotta use your 6 to start a fire.

Once again. That's the reason for your signature line!

Cricketdave's post contains epic win the likes of which can not be reached by anyone else. Even with two Junglas! :D
