I'm sure many of you are asking, "What the heck is that symbol on the clip of the Lil' Temperance?" I don't have a clue myself...so I thought one of you Spydie afficinadoes would. Here is a crappy picture of what it looks like. My first thought was "SG" for Sal Glesser. Or, if you look really hard, you can almost see a MBC, if it were to be written in artsy lettering.

I hope someone can help, because it's been bugging me for some time now!

"SAL"

S is the three legged mark.
A is an upside down V.
L is the last one.

Thanks pyrguy!! I had a hunch that it was letters and not a hyroglyphic of sorts.

It really does look like SAL, but you have to view the image from the side, not up and down the length of the clip like I have been.

Wire edge. Does the clip on your Lil' Temperance allow both tip-up and tip-down carry? In the photo in my 2002 Spyderco catalog it looks like there are holes in the scales that will accommodate mounting at either end. However, the specs only indicate one type of carry.
Thanks,

The scales are milled for either but just on the one side. Not set up for ambi carry.
