that's nice... how long is the blade? 6" 8" ?? a bit long For a dagger though :D

2 inches of blade is plenty if your good;)

i bought the protech tantilla cause of the cool factor, i didnt own any out the front openers and i live in california so this was my only choice.

be that as it may, i feel confident that i can use a 2 inch blade for self defense just fine. 2 inches of blade will keep just about anyone off you if you know how to use it.

2 inches... hhm... you in any real situation with that before? I must say a long stick can beat a 2" knife

a long stick is also totally illegal to carry around were i live. even having one in my car can get me a felony that will land me in the same prison cell as murderers and rapists.

a lot of things can beat a 2 inch knife. a stick, tank, su37 combat aircraft etc.......

however, a sharp 2 inch blade is still enough blade to slice a person wide open. sure, i prefer to carry bigger knives for SD but even still, getting hit with a 2 inch blade is still going to inflict a serious injury. they may not be ideal, but they are far from useless and very concealable.

Oh man, even a stick is illegal?? oh... hhhm.... then I guess a 2 inches will do, Oh what about paper cutter? :p

I'm all for stabbing one's enemies, but what in the world can you do with a 2" blade on a switchblade?

Well, as a defensive weapon, with the right technique 2-inches can be affective.

Remember, animals are fluid systems and need fluid pressure. Put enough leaks in an animals fluid system, the pressure drops and so does the animal.

As an example: someone punches at you, cut their arm and/or hand - creating a fluid leak as well as pain deterence.
