Whats the Best Survival Rifle?

Springfield also makes the M-6 in a .22Hornet/.410 combo. I think the Hornet gives a bit more versatility but cuts down on ammo availability. I'd love to see a .22mag/.410 M-6. Bricked .22 ammo gives a lot of lifesaving rounds in a small package.
A friend of mine, who flies Blackhawks for the Army swears by the folding stock 10/22 Ruger and two 500rnd bricks of ammo under his flight seat.

i have a Ruger MK 2 pistol, Savage 93 takedown in .22 mag, and a Remington Seven based scout in .308 that should all be up to the task. i'm planning on adding some .32acp adaptors to the kit for the scout.

the Papoose and AR7 don't really impress me, but i have seen a 10/22 with a Papoose-style bbl that could have potential.
