• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What's the best way to clean and coat blade?

Well, I am far from "expert", however I like to use either a Tuf-Cloth
from Sentry or the MIRACLE CLOTH for cleaning.

MIRACLE CLOTH seems to put a very nice shine on EVERYTHING that it
touches. Works awesome on titanium I know that for fact. Virtually erases any scratches that may occur with use.

www.eknifeworks.com gives up a great deal on them!

i use tuf cloth or marine tuf cloth.
or just coat it with a little break free and rub it off.
honestly, my stuff does not see that hard of use, but the tuf cloth system works real well...it will smell funny for a bit depending how wet your cloth is.
cheers,
Derek

Well I'm no expert, but if it's a light cleaning, you can't beat Tuff Cloths. They are fantastic here in Florida where the humidy is high.
Sometimes I'll use a little Hoppes 9 and CLP for fuzzy surface rust . I don't know if I would use (Hoppes or CLP) on fancy custom blades though. Some petroleum based chems. might no be good for some coatings or colored tempered blades. After a cleaning, try the Tuff Cloth for long term storage.

I have been a Strider user for 4 yrs now,
I'd really love to get some of that TOXIC sh****t they use at the Strider factory. It smells great!

(you know the stuff on a brand new Strider)
